Walked on 11/03/2010. We walked up Glenridding Common from the TIC car park area. Striding Edge is a notorious accident spot among hikers and scramblers. Personally I thoroughly enjoyed it, the weather was fine, I was with my two brothers and we all coped really well. This is looking south along the Helvellyn range to Nethermost Pike. .. I am aware that Striding Edge is a very narrow knife edge though, and don`t want to put the dog, ourselves or anyone else in danger.
